Spacious apartment in great location Positive: We had a very enjoyable week in the apartment. It's in a great location within easy walking distance of the historic centre but with its own neighbourhood bars, restaurants and shops. Marie was very helpful and communication was good. The apartment is airey and spacious with plenty of storage space. The shower works well. The kitchen is well equiped and we cooked a couple of times. We would happily visit again. Negative: Only minor issues. The toilet seat needs to be tightened and the bottom of the shower door is damaged. A couple more mugs and spoons would be useful. As others have mentioned, the stairs are difficult, a steep spiral which is a challenge with luggage, but I think this is the nature of buildings in this area. We found a light switch on the ground floor which lit up all floors so didn't have difficulty with lighting.

Warm Christmas break in Antwerpen Positive: The title of the listing is not lying - the location is great! The city center is very close and the neighbourhood is both quiet and full with food places and other facilities. Super option for Christmas break! The host is very attentive. She sent us all check-in instructions in advance and helped us with some issues during our stay. The apartment itself is spacious, comfy and warm. Overall, we had a good time staying there! Negative: The apartment needed some maintenance in some areas. It is situated on 2nd floor with steep Dutch style stairs. It was fine for us, can be a problem for others. The bed is comfortable but pillows could be better - too small and almost flat.

Positive: The location is really good, in a quiet area, so for light sleepers like me it was perfect! And it's between old city center and modern part of Antwerpen, close to the river. There was no need to use public transport. The bed was really comfortable. Negative: There was quite lot of dust on the shelves in the closet so I had to clean it before putting my clothes. Some minor furniture malfunctions, such as the toilet lid, the shelf by the bed is slightly detached from the wall, no light in the hallway to the apartment. But this did not affect the quality of the stay, in general I am very satisfied.
